Chinese adverbs come after the subject and before the verb — never at the end of the sentence. 也 (also), 都 (all), 就 (right away), 才 (only then) all sit in the pre-verbal slot. English allows end-position adverbs ("I go too"), which is exactly where the temptation comes from.

Subject + adverb + verb: 我也去, 我们都喜欢, 他就要来了.

What it does

01也 — also: 我也去 (I also go)
02都 — all / both: 我们都学过
03就 — right away, emphatic: 我就来
04才 — not until, only then: 他八点才下班

Common learner errors

⚠他也。→ 我也去。/ 我也是。 — 也 cannot end a sentence
⚠English "I also think so" is fine, but *我想也 is not: the adverb must sit before the verb.
